Psychedelic Jellyfish Absinthe - Red Eyed Medusa

Named for the small jellyfish found in the Pacific ocean, they have small red eyes at the end of their tentacles they use to detect light. They are coastal or ‘sub tidal’ so you have a good chance of finding them while beachcombing in Tofino

Psychedelic Jellyfish Absinthe - Red Eyed Medusa

TASTE: Refreshing, Anise, Cucumber

INGREDIENTS:

INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Dry shake (in a cocktail shaker without ice) the Absinthe, lemon juice, cucumber syrup, orange blossom water, and egg white for 30 seconds.
  • Add 1 cup of ice to shaker and shake again for 30 seconds.
  • Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  • Slowly add the soda water 
  • Dot top of cocktail with angostura bitters (for the red eyes)
