Strawberry Rhubarb Syrup
as used in our Strawberry Rhubarb Whiskey Sour
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup frozen strawberries
- ½ cup chopped rhubarb
- Combine all ingredients in pot over medium heat
- Heat until sugar is dissolved/rhubarb is soft
- Strain out fruit
- Keep syrup in fridge for up to 1 month
